It is finished. It is done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I submitted the piece to the anthology Wednesday night a few hours before the deadline. I&#8217;m still worried that the lady in charge will contact me and say, &#8220;No, it&#8217;s crap.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m sure others feel that way. Imposter syndrome appears to be worse in the writing industry. I wrote and edited it in eight-ish weeks. And had a major depressive episode which caused me to consider stepping out of the anthology. Even on medication, depression can sneak up on me from time to time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am truly proud of this novella. It&#8217;s a dangerous thought. To be proud makes me vulnerable to criticism. Or rather, make the criticism hurt more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, the novella will appear in the anthology <strong>Alpha Shifters Furever: A Paranormal Romance &amp; Urban Fantasy Anthology (Shifters Unleashed) <\/strong>on February 1, 2022.
