It’s been close to 5 years since I’ve posted to this platform. I never posted much to begin with, but I’m finally in a place where this may just change. When I say I’m in a place I mean a place mentally. Much has changed in the last few years and I have let myself become distracted from what I’ve wanted to accomplish. I let myself. I let myself not find the time. I’m ready to push through the distractions and actively participate in my own hobbies. To turn my daydreams into stories written down for my own enjoyment if not for others. I’m working on a new project that stemmed from a book I read. Once I finish that, I plan to revisit that story that I was working on 5 years ago. I still think about it. It has never gone away.<\/p>\n
For now this blog will subsist of thoughts and writing prompts, maybe some fanfiction. Maybe a book review or two. You know, all the off-topic things I want to say unconnected to my larger works (that may never be published). I welcome constructive criticism if anyone reads this and feels obliged. That should be my tag line. Constitutive criticism – dish it out bitches but ignore the terrible spelling.<\/p>\n
On a side note, I am a little embarrassed by the fanfiction, but sometimes it won’t leave me alone. I know they aren’t my characters, but I still want to play with them. It’s like borrowing a toy from a friend. I promise to give them back. Promise.<\/p>\n
So, the goal is to keep writing. To keep the daydreams alive. And explore the depths of my imagination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
